The annual Secondary Swimming Sports were a big success with an absolute cracking day in the 30's.
A massive thank you and congratulations to all students that participated. It was great to see such high participation levels this year and the students taking the event seriously both as competitors and as supporters.
There was a lot of positive House moral and great leadership on display by the captains throughout the day. It was great to see such a positive, competitive, and fun environment.
There were a number of people who did every race possible even if it wasn't their strongest event; well done!
A huge congratulations to Josh Gunn for breaking 5 records, one in each stroke for the U14 age group, Charlotte Cassidy for breaking two records, in 2 Length Freestyle and Backstroke, Hannah Evans in U16 2 Length Butterfly and Open Butterfly, and Katie Gunn U15 2 Length Butterfly.
At the end of the day with all the points tallied up Sumner came out on top with a huge lead taking out 1st place, followed by Sheppard in 2nd place, Mason in 3rd and right on their tail was Taylor finishing in 4th.
