Imaginative Writing Mr Eye Ball was a Scottish rugby player and on a fine Saturday in 1999 he was kicking a ball by the Loch Ness. The ball went into the water and when he went to get it back he saw a big shadow of a monster come over to him. He stood up with his ball and screamed. "It was huge, black and as big as a tree. Suddenly it jumped at me. I was so scared I threw my rugby ball at its disgusting mouth." Mr Ball said the monster then started chewing wildly on the rugby ball and then it began to choke. It then slowly slid backwards into the water and coughed itself away. "I hope I didn’t kill it, but I had to do something." After that Mr Ball ran home to get his camera but never saw the monster again. A week later a little boy found a ripped ball on the edge of the water. Daniel aged 9 It was a Saturday in August 1930 and Mr and Mrs Alfie were driving their old car along the road beside the Loch Ness. They were traveling around the world taking photographs for famous magazines. Suddenly the saw a monster's head pop up out of the water. They could not believe it was a Waterhorse! Then it spotted them and started to swim up to them. They were so scared but they took a photo and drove off as fast as they could. They took it to the local newspaper where the picture was printed on the front page. The next day, a large amount of people gathered around to try and catch the Loch Ness Monster but that was the first and last sighting ever. Tia, aged 8 On September the 17th 1938 Mr McLurky who was a cow thief was up early in the morning stealing some cows on the edge of Loch Ness. He was lurking around when suddenly he saw a big shadow in the loch move. He saw it again and he waited and took a photo. He said “My photo was a bit blurry but it looked like a gigantic monster of some sort. It was swimming wildly around in the water searching for food”. Mr McLurky was so frightened he left his stolen cows behind and ran quickly to get help. Mr McLurky never stole anything close to the loch again. By Paige On Thursday 14th August 2000 Mr Charles Urqart who lives on the west shore of Loch Ness was sitting happily in his castle. He said “All of a sudden a thing jumped out of the water and I was horrified. I couldn’t believe my eyes! I was shocked.” He ran for the castle and got his shotgun. When he came back to the west shore he realized that the horse-like thing was the monster of the Loch Ness. He tried to shoot the monster, but he missed. The monster came up to Mr Urqart and got the shotgun in his mouth and destroyed it. Mr Urqart then ran off and told what had happened to his friends. They reported the story to the newspaper. The next time, when the monster was seen was two years later. By Liam |
