Performing Arts
Visual Arts

Ko Toi te uri o Mahara Pòhewa.

Art is the child of Imagination.

Programmes across Primary and Secondary School levels encourage individual development and group performance at peer level. There are opportunities for Primary and Secondary students to perform regularly in school productions
We provide students with a well-rounded education by offering a colourful variety of activities catering to a wide spectrum of interests.

Hurunui College's Music and Performing Arts both has an established track-record of excellence and high levels of participation, by both Hurunui students and students from across the country via eLearning. Activities open to students include the NetNZ music festival.

Regular performance opportunities occur throughout the year such as year group showcase concerts (including Smokefree Rockquest), Young Musicians concerts, community performance opportunities and termly school assemblies.
