English/Social Science Y7-13 (2 positions)
​

We are seeking two full-time teachers (possible part-time opportunity by negotiation) across the curriculum areas of English and Social Sciences. Teaching opportunities available in English from year 9 through to NCEA level 3, Social Studies from year 7 to 10, History, Geography and Tourism through to NCEA level 3. Management unit/s are available to support curriculum leadership across the school.

Applicants must be innovative, energetic, collaborative and committed to the school's vision as well as being prepared to play an active part in the co-curricular and professional life of the school. School housing may be available if required.

Learning Support Coordinator
​

Tipu Mai Kāhui Ako is seeking to appoint a teacher to work as learning support coordinator for our cluster of schools south of the Hurunui River. Our schools are Hurunui College, Waikari School, Greta Valley School, Waipara School and Omihi School. 
This position will commence at the start of the 2020 school year. The successful candidate will be an experienced teacher who is committed to making a difference for the students across our schools. This is a new role that will be developed according to the needs of our students. This role is non-teaching.

The LSC role is loosely based as follows:
Hurunui College (0.5), Waikari School (0.1), Waipara School (0.1), Greta Valley School (0.1) and Omihi School (0.1) – employed by Hurunui College.
