| This year Hurunui College had one rider at the ODE. Ella Ferguson joined three riders from Amuri and Hagley High school to make a team of four. Ella was coming 4th in her class after dressage, and jumped clear in show jumping. It came down to cross country, where she jumped clear and finished with a good time, meaning that she won her class. The team as a whole did not finish live, as the other three riders were unlucky and were eliminated on the course. Ella rode well, and all her hard work is paying off ready for Springston Trophy in the holidays. |  |
