From the waiata on the bus trip to our heartfelt performance at RNLS, there were good vibes all round. This was a great opportunity to showcase all our hard work in a nurturing and supportive environment.
Hurunui College was well represented and received lots of praise and positive comments from audience members. The beautiful harmonies of our singers and our stirring haka, Tika Tonu, were complimented by an outstanding display of taiaha, courtesy of Phoenix Blackburn.
With the support of staff, parents, PTA and students this was truly a whole school effort. Special thanks to Beau McKay and his standout leadership throughout this.
