This year the Year 1-7 Swimming Sports were held in ideal conditions. Participation was high and we had a large number of water confident swimmers, as well as some very able and competitive swimmers who pushed themselves to enter in either the one length or two length competitive races. For the first time in a number of years we did not have a large pool display. The swimming ability of our young children was impressive. This year as a final event for the Discovery Learning Community we again ran the width relays and these were followed by the closely contested house and parent/teacher/student length relays. The children always enjoy these races and it is a great way to finish the day. Thank you to all our parent volunteers who helped out on the day. We could not run this event without you and your help was much appreciated. Thankyou also to the large number of parent and extended family supporters who took the time out of their day to attend this event. Your presence and support was also much appreciated.
